Our opinions are our own. Vehicle information is compiled from manufacturer material, public information, independent sources and, where stated, WattCar testing. We aim to keep it accurate and current, but specifications, pricing, availability and manufacturer claims can change.

Research previews and provisional ratings

Before WattCar has tested a contender, any rating identified as a Research Preview or Provisional Assessment is based on published specifications, independent reviews and available data. It is not a WattCar Car of the Year (COTY) test score and is replaced by our own assessment once the vehicle is tested.

Tested vehicles

TESTED means WattCar has driven and assessed the vehicle. Research-based assessments and tested assessments are identified separately so readers can see the basis of our opinion.

Australian variant coverage

WattCar shows a selection of core vehicle variants marketed for sale in Australia, with up to three per model. Other grades may be available. Limited editions and option packs are excluded from the public comparison catalogue. We do not track dealer stock or guarantee immediate availability. Prices and specifications reflect published information, with provisional figures and relevant qualifications identified. Confirm current pricing, ordering and delivery details with the manufacturer or dealer.
